jubilee scientific conference

On 31 January, - 1 February, the jubilee scientific conference was held in the IP RAS. It was devoted to 35 anniversary of the Institute and dedicated to the memory of Institute’s founder – Boris F. Lomov – his 85 anniversary. The conference opening was greeted by the heads of psychological leading scientific organizations of Moscow, St.Petersbourgh, Yaroslavl, Smolensk, Samara, Tver and other towns of Russia. The participants listened to plenary lectures on topical problems of psychology. After reports made during the work of 12 sections there was held the discussion on actual problems of development in psychological science: methodology of psychology; history and contemporary position of historical-psychological investigations; the principle of development in psychology; psychology of personality and individuality; psychology of abilities; psychology of creativity; speech, consciousness and communication; tendency of development in social psychology and its branches; psychological problems of optimization in professional activity; psycho-physiologicalanalysis of development and functioning; psychological consequences oftraumatic stress experience; mathematical psychology and psycho-physics. Besides, the memorial meeting dedicated to the memory of Boris Fiodorovich Lomov was held.
